Core Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for the achievement of the QCT-targets of the project launch
- Ensures the accuracy of project progress information and deliverable maturity
- Supports the continuous improvement and optimization of processes regarding product and process development (Process "Acquire & Quote", Process "Develop & Launch")
- Acts as first escalation level in case of project specific issues
- Manage internal escalations and and coordinates countermeasures
- Breaks down QCT-targets for subprojects or coreteam members
- Reviews and accepts deliverables
- Defines the project requirements
- Is responsible for the planning and controlling of the project ("WHAT" & "WHEN")
- Ensures project status reportings, risk assessments and execution of gate reviews
- Establishes and cultivates good customer relationships and develops customer specific know how
- Establishes and cultivates project communications
- Ensures compliance with internal standards, processes and procedures
- Leads cross functional project teams and/or project leaders (project related)
Job Requirements:
- Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- Years of working experience: Preferably 5 years of working experience
- Years of industry experience: Preferably 3-5 years automotive experience with previous project launch success
- Certifications: PMP certification preferred
- Physical requirements: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and sitting most of the time. Limited walking and standing
