Project Construction Manager (m/f/d)

What you will enjoy doing

• You will coordinate the global construction team with respect to construction sequence, construction concepts and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) specific matters
• Develop and align the construction work areas, path of construction, and construction work packages in accordance with project objectives
• Evaluate construction subcontractor regarding their workface planning capabilities
• Ensure that AWP and workface planning requirements are accurately integrated into the construction subcontract and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with project team members, such as contractors, partners, and engineers, to align construction methodologies and interfaces to optimize workface planning
• Establish and maintain a robust data infrastructure for workface planning, ensuring efficient communication and seamless data exchange between all project participants
• Work closely with Linde´s site supervision team to provide mentorship and support in all matters related to AWP and workface planning
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of the construction contractor, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as the need arises
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Collaborate with project management to develop strategies for improving AWP and workface planning implementation across future projects
• Stay up to date with industry standard methodologies and emerging trends in AWP and workface planning, sharing knowledge and insights with the project team
• Develop operational competence and know how in the form of work instructions and standard documents

What makes you great

• You have a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Proven experience of minimum three years in construction management, with a focus on work preparation, lean construction or workface planning
• Strong understanding of lean principles, methodologies, and industry standards
• You are proficient in applying project management and lean tools to enhance project execution and teamwork
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks and deliverables
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to guide and mentor construction teams towards successful AWP implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams and partners
• Shown problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
• Strong focus on and support of health, safety and environment (HSE) topics
