Your mission
In this role, you will represent our customers and our support organization in the Thales product development and release process as well as in other key areas such as knowledge creation, review of technical training material, and development of critical fieldservice notifications
You will also provide mentoring to the broader support engineerpopulation and serveas an escalation point within support, diagnosing the most complex problems ,recommendingworkarounds, answering the most complex questions on function and usage of product via the telephone and/or Internet
You will convey customer feedback to product development staff and the Product Line Management team. Possesses thorough knowledge of company’s products used by customers. Responsible for resource planning and allocation, managing customer expectations and project deliverables, and providing cross-functional escalation and communication
With feedback from R&D, you will develop and document (in our knowledge base) solutions and workarounds to known problems and advice the Crypto-Management support team on how to apply the solution or workarounds to known issues.
We are looking forward to
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant field of study; and / or equivalent experience
A good understanding of cryptographic key management with experience using them to protect sensitive data in database, applications, storage systems, virtualized platforms and cloud environment is a clear benefit
You must be willing to, occasionally, provide after hours and weekend support of products on an on-call
Technically, we would like someone to join our team who has working knowledge of Linux operating systems such RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu and/or Windows Servers, networking such as protocols like TCP/IP and UDP; IPv4 vs IPv6. Basic Knowledge of programming languages (C/C++ and/or Java). Database skills (Oracle and MS SQL Server) is a plus. Knowledge of RSA PCKS Public-Key Cryptography Standards. Knowledge of Public cloud platforms. Familiarity with AWS, VMware vCloud Air, Microsoft Azure, etc. is an advantage
