The Portfolio Process Manager will own the implementation of the portfolio management processes to ensure OTP meets its mission of providing reliable, low-cost and environmentally responsible power to its customers.
To achieve that, the Portfolio Process Manager will:
- Create, implement, and manage a portfolio management process.
- Define and enforce standards for preliminary project planning to ensure future project execution is a success.
- Collaborate with all internal Otter Tail Power stakeholders on templates, tools and standards lists for project management and methodologies and train Project Management team on best practices.
- Establish metrics and performance indicators to track the progress and performance of the project portfolio.
Qualifications:

- OTP leaders need to have a confident interpersonal, communications and diplomacy skills to effectively manage the various teams involved in projects and to create positive and effective relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be goal oriented, action-focused, pragmatic, and self-disciplined.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Engineering, Management, etc.,
- 10 years demonstrated experience in project management and gaining project approval from executives, board of directors and regulatory entities.
- Must possess a strong understanding and application of basic project management tools and techniques.
- Selected candidates will be required to complete a pre-interview assessment.
