Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of logistics operations, including road, air, ocean, and contract logistics within Europe.
• Drive operational excellence and efficiency across all service lines within the European market.
• Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations specific to the European region.
• Manage resources effectively to meet operational demands within Europe.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing operational team focused on European operations.
• Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives tailored to the European market.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks for business continuity within Europe.
• Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders operating within the European region.
• Implement advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency specifically for European operations.
• Monitor and report on operational performance metrics within the European context.

Qualifications:

• 20+ years of experience in senior leadership roles within the logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of road, air, ocean, and contract logistics operations within the European region.
• Proven track record of driving results and continuous improvement within European logistics operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and German is a must.
• Ability to travel extensively within Europe.
• Reporting directly to the CEO.
