Deutsche Rentenversicherung Rheinland is a provider of statutory pension insurance in Germany with around 3,800 employees at its headquarters in Düsseldorf, 12 regional service centers in the administrative districts of Düsseldorf and Cologne and six rehabilitation clinics.
For our IT service provider Deutsche Rentenversicherung Nord Ost West Informationstechnik GmbH (NOW IT GmbH), Deutsche Rentenversicherung Rheinland is looking for a member of the Infrastructure Services division for the Competence Center (KC) Archive at the Düsseldorf site at the earliest possible date.
System administrator for the archive (f/m/d)
In the KC Archive, you will be responsible for operating the ECM systems for the provision of electronic documents. You will also be responsible for the support and administration of the software components used in the scanning centers as part of document digitization.

The area of responsibility includes in particular

• Maintenance, administration and optimization of the ECM systems ("electronic archive"),
• Installation, administration, maintenance and optimization of software components in digital archives, as well as system monitoring and quality assurance
• Maintenance of process-specific IT security concepts and documentation
• Error analysis and troubleshooting as part of second level support and
• Collaboration in projects

Your qualification

You have a degree in computer science from a university of applied sciences (Bachelor of Science) or a comparable relevant degree.

You should also have the following specialist knowledge

• Knowledge of relational database systems, preferably Oracle RDBMS and sound SQL knowledge
• Knowledge of the operating systems Microsoft Windows, Suse-Linux (SLES) and/or Red-Hat Linux (RHEL)
• Experience in the areas of "Enterprise Content Management" and "Document Management Systems", ideally with the products "OpenText TCP" or "OpenText Archive Server"
• Designing specialist solutions, as well as developing and enhancing archive services
• Ideally experience in one or more of the following technical topics Java, XML, shell scripts
• Performing proactive analyses and deriving optimizations for the archive, as well as the associated operational processes
• Planning and implementing tests and carrying out subsequent changes to the IT infrastructure in the archive environment
• Basic knowledge in the areas of data protection and data security regulations

Your personal requirements include a high degree of customer and service orientation. We also expect conceptual and analytical skills and an independent way of working. Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure are just as much a part of your strengths as a high level of commitment. Continuous further training and independent familiarization with new subject areas are expected, as is a willingness to travel on business. Good oral and written communication skills in German and a good command of English round off your profile.
