We are looking for YOU as Product Safety Design Leader (m/f/d) for our location in Bietigheim .

These challenges await you:

• Coordination of product and functional safety activities in the project according to ISO 26262.

• Creation of the safety planning, the safety analysis (PHA, FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, Reliability), the functional and technical safety concept and the safety case

• Direct contact person for customers to coordinate product requirements regarding functional safety

• Interface and support in the projects and contact person for questions regarding functional and product safety as well as validation of these requirements

• Support of the development team in the implementation of safety concepts on system, hardware and software level

• Carrying out safety design reviews

• Ensuring training for project engineers

• Participation in Valeo standardization for functional safety

• Continuous improvement of Valeo safety processes

• Establishment of the safety culture at Valeo

• Ensure continuous customer satisfaction

• Close cooperation with project management and the entire project team

You inspire us with:

• Completed engineering studies or comparable education

• Several years of professional experience in embedded system, hardware or software design, ideally in the automotive industry

• Sound knowledge of product safety, ISO 26262, SOTIF as well as requirements management and documentation

• Fluent in English and confident in dealing with customers

• Structured and team-oriented approach to work and high level of commitment
