Chemist/ Chemical Engineer (m/f/d) (38500)
will support our Research and Development Team of our Business Unit Catalysts at Heufeld (Germany).
Focus will be on Ammonia Synthesis and Decomposition, thereby facilitating the reduction of carbon emissions and enabling energy transition in the chemical industry.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and characterization of catalysts for the production and decomposition of Ammonia.
- Set-up of new test procedures, testing of catalysts, evaluation of test data.
- Documentation of results, communication to internal & external stakeholders.
- Scale-up of catalyst recipes including transfer from lab to production.
- Technical support to our production and sales teams.
- Initiation and assessment of patent and literature searches.
- Cooperation with engineering and academic partners.
Requirements
- PhD in Technical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Profound knowledge in preparation of solid catalysts.
- Experience with assessment and evaluation of data from catalyst testing.
- Experience with characterization of solid catalysts by various methods.
- Structured approach and strong organizational skills.
- Creativity, team spirit, and flexibility.
- High engagement, decisiveness, and trustworthiness.
- English fluent, German advantageous.
