AIT Ingenieur (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Overall AIT ETC technical responsibility and go-to person for a project across disciplines and thus close collaboration and support of respective ETC manager
- Technical coordination of an assigned AIT ETC project team
- Ensure implementation and compliance of OHB’s AIT processes
- In early phase: define AIT flow, GSE and facility concept
- Standardize and update AIT documentation, e.g. AIT Plan, Facility Plan, GSE Deployment Plan / Specs, AIT Risk register, Procedures, etc.
- Ensure GSE suitability and I&T definition across disciplines
- Control the technical coherency and consistency of documents, GSE and I&T setups and approaches
- Define and maintain I/F to Engineering, Verification, PA
- Support the preparation of and participation at test reviews (IRR/TRR, PTR) in coordination with AIT Manager
- Organize results data review and drive respective approvals
- Organize and maintain AIT data storage for respective project
- Define and manage AIT tools usage for assigned project
- Support AIT ETC manager with his/her planning activities
- Training, guidance and mentoring of employees
- Information exchange and networking within team, possibly with other departments/units and external partners
- Knowledge management: knowledge generation, documentation and transfer
- Develop own expertise and leadership skills
Your Qualifications
- Aerospace / Electrical Engineer degree (or similar) with experience in working for Space Business or related matters
- Five years of experience in Space Business are considered a necessary background for this role
- Knowledge of the satellite system aspects with technological items. Specific knowledge on satellite system thermal testing (thermal balance and thermal cycling) is required
- Profound knowledge of physics, electrical and functional principles of a Satellite System
- Good relationship capabilities, either internal to the other OHB Team Members, either external, in relationship to the Customer
- Understanding of issues, identify root causes, define solution
- Flexibility in work organization: work in shift, work in weekend or holidays, if needed
- Working under quality control rules
- Flexibility to travel
