Job Description
We are working exclusively with our client, a real estate asset management leader, in its search for two Tax Associates, based in Zug or Munich.Reporting to the Group Director of Tax, these new roles are being created to build the tax function with a focus on compliance, and to reduce reliance on external consultants.
Responsibilities as the Tax Associate:
- Manage tax compliance responsibilities, including overseeing tax declarations and meeting deadlines
- Review tax returns and ensure all necessary information is provided to our external tax advisors
- Act as a crucial interface between our accounting team and external advisors
- Completion of in-house tax returns
- Experience in tax compliance and preparation of tax returns
- Experience in German or Swiss taxation (Certified German Tax Advisor, Steuerberater, Steuerfachwirt or Steuerfachangestellter)
- Process improvement experience
