Steven Marcus

RUNLABS is a life sciences real estate company with a mission statement of Making Science Easier. It is creating a network of lab and office facilities for life science growth in Europe and the UK. As CEO of RUNLABS, Steven Marcus’ key responsibilities include overseeing the strategic direction of the company, organising cluster building, developing the life science ecosystem, and managing financial structuring and fundraising initiatives.

Prior to founding RUNLABS, Steven Marcus was the Manager of the privately-held investment manager and real estate sponsor, Bugsby Property LLC. Since October 2012, the business has sought to create value from real estate investments and its current focus is on opportunities in the creative industries.

Before founding Bugsby Property and RUNLABS, Steven Marcus was the Founder of Northmoore Capital Management LLC, an investment company that operated from 2008 to 2012. In this role, he leveraged his experience as a portfolio manager in public-markets special situations investment management in New York.

At Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Steven Marcus was part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that created the Alexandria Center for Life Science in New York, a leading life science innovation center. In his four years at the company, he also spearheaded Alexandria’s business development in India.
