Then apply for a position with us and seize the opportunity to solve the technological and economic challenges of the next phase of the global energy transition in a dynamic research environment!

What you will do

  • Your work is primarily in modeling and analysis of a carbon-neutral energy and economic system for successful high-impact energy transition design.
  • To this end, you will analyze technologies and political measures with which the energy transition can be successfully implemented in technical and economic terms through the expansion of renewable energies or further climate-friendly applications, such as the use of green hydrogen.
  • In all analyses, you keep the overall system in mind at all times, work in an interdisciplinary manner, and use quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will work on and lead research and policy consulting projects at the national, European and international level and further develop your professional network.

What you bring to the table

  • You have a PhD in industrial engineering, economics or natural sciences or any related discipline.
  • In addition, you are enthusiastic about energy and climate protection issues and have in-depth knowledge of energy economics, policy and technical issues of modeling and transformation of energy systems.
  • With your ability to work in a team and strong intercultural communication skills, you can work well on interdisciplinary projects.
