Scholarship program sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Research Foundation (DFG). One of only 300 students accepted out of over 2000 students who applied. Conducted research with members of the Genome Informatics department. Developed parametric models to detect peaks in data. Implemented these models by developing software in C++.
