Dariush Mohammadi

I am a Tunnel Engineering Specialist with 5 years of professional experience in the field of Geotechnics and Underground Structures Design. I completed my B.Sc. with honours in Mining Engineering in 2016 (in addition to a minor in Civil Engineering) and M.Sc. in Rock Mechanics in 2018 with final thesis on Mechanized Tunneling and Soft Ground Excavation in Urban Areas. I have started a PhD position since 2018 at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) and Tunnel Saz Machine Manufacturer with the dissertation topic on the cutterhead opening design for EPB machines. I possess a strong problem solving and inter-personal skills enabled me working on some notable projects in industry to deliver services from feasibility study to detailed design including site investigations, geotechnical studies, numerical modelling and structural design for consultant engineer companies.
