Emily McKie

I worked with Mobisol to create a successful pilot project in Kenya and Tanzania, and subsequent scale up to sustainable profitability. My main tasks were related to management, including Project planning and Local partner relationships.In this role I travelled to Africa four times, to Tanzania and Kenya. I contributed to many other areas of the business; successful funding grants, product improvement and distribution design were some of my areas of significant contribution to Mobisol's success.

From September 2008 to May 2011 I worked as Sustainable Design and Climate Change consultant at WorleyParsons. I provided sustainability services for urban design and infrastructure development projects. As a sustainability specialist I identified sustainability initiatives and Green Star ratings. Using multi-criteria assessments and EcoNomicsTM assessments, actually showing their value socially, environmentally, and economically, so they actually get built and implemented.

I worked with OTEK for nearly five years as a project manager and environmental engineer. Roles and tasks for which I was responsible include the NSW representative of the Greenhouse Gas and Sustainability Group, the Geographic Information Systems developer, Air Dispersion Modelling and Environmental Site Assessment project manager.
