Developed relationships with Marketing, Operations, Sales to create innovative primary cosmetic packaging. Strategically sourced and developed stock and custom cosmetic packaging. Managed and oversaw global cosmetic packaging development projects. Identified and maintained relationships with key global packaging suppliers located in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Established strategic relationships between vendors and customers to help meet project expectations through all primary and secondary packaging. Created primary packaging artwork guidelines and instruction sheets for the production floor. Developed all secondary packaging requirements for all products including cartons, shrink film, corrugated containers and pallet patterns. Project team member for a variety of major client launches including Proctor and Gamble, Clorox, and more.

Participated in the development of new products with project managers, packaging, marketing, R&D, and Operations. Developed and designed manufacturing processes for new products. Maintain efficiency and engineering upgrades on 5 different manufacturing lines.Drafted and executed IQ, OQ, and PQ's on a variety of processes and new products. Sourced, purchased, and validated new cosmetic machinery to increase efficiency and quality of many new and existing products.

Executed the testing and approval of new product packaging for Blu Ray and DVD applications. Performed a variety of testing methods including drop, environmental chamber, compression, vibration, dimensional and tensile testing. Assisted engineering with packaging line assembly and improvements throughout the plant. Managed day-to-day packaging plant metrics in the CD packaging area. Worked as a team with fellow engineers to brainstorm and design new packaging line improvements for our hand packaging area.

Proposed and executed a returnable packaging system in IndyDry packaging. Drafted and executed engineering studies and validations for many production projects. Worked as a team with PPM, Regulatory, Marketing, and Vendors to standardize all the packaging cartons on one major packaging line. Managed day to day packaging issues and participated in monthly improvement meetings with vendors to ensure top manufacturing quality standards.

Used Toyota Business Practices (TBP) to create plans, problem solve, and report out to senior management. Educated in Toyota Production Sytem (TPS), Kaizan, and Just In Time (JIT) manufacturing. Initiated a plan to eliminate wood skids at all the NAMC's. Reviewed and created packaging for two new major vehicle model changes. Worked vigorously in abnormal business conditions to ensure that cost savings was top priority in different proposals and projects I led.
