Responsibility for the analysis and investment of the funds allocated to the European Financial Sector (including banks, insurers and diversified financials in the Western and Eastern Europe). Developed an analytical and fundamental analysis framework for the sector on a “buy side” angle. Created a strategic relationship with leading research analysts of the major investment banks. Took part in the strategic asset allocation decisions in the asset management division.

Co-led the asset management team. Coordinated product development with the commercial and marketing departments. Used derivatives for currency hedging and for long/short, relative value and complex payoff strategies.
