Hello! My name is Keaton Myers, and I am a senior BS computer science student at Clemson University set to graduate in May of 2023. I have a strong passion for backend development, which I have honed through my year and a half of internship experience at Clemson Energy Visualization and Analytics Center (CEVAC) and my current internship at Hexagon ALI. As I approach graduation, I am eager to embark on a new professional challenge and explore opportunities in Germany. I am highly interested in the tech industry and believe that my skills and experience working in an AWS environment and handling SQL would make me a valuable addition to any team. I am constantly seeking to expand my knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices, and I am excited to contribute my skills to a forward-thinking company.

    Software Developer Internship

    Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence

    During my time as an intern at Hexagon ALI, I was given the opportunity to work across many technologies and interact with several teams. These included a LogicMonitor Dashboard for an AWS cloud-based application, an Angular client to authenticate and provide access to an AWS cloud-based application, a Swagger specification for RESTful API, and developed a Python Library to encapsulate common functions. My value as a contributor was recognized by the management team and my internship was extended twice

    Data Engineering Intern

    Clemson University

    At Cevac, I led a small team of fellow interns in designing, writing, and utilizing several Python scripts. These scripts performed data importation from several sources into an MSSQL and Postgres Database using an ETL Paradigm. I was personally responsible for designing and building the initial collection system to determine the number of occupants in a building, which in my time there had collected over 30 million records over the course of a three-month period.
