Leading an R&D microbusiness unit providing coating solutions with end-2-end responsiblity: From development of coatings supporting Swarovski's design requirements to equipment needed for state-of-the-art production.

Responsible for development of decorative and functional coatings for Swarovski products, by means of PVD, CVD, Electroplating, Lacquering & Printing.

Management of development projects to realise new or improved PVD coatings for architectural glazings, including - Successful design and test of control software concept for coating production - Build custom software for operators and engineers running large area coaters based on the concept. - Establish customer application software for calculation of glazing figures as a web application.

Development of decorative and functional PVD coatings on glass, including - Transfer of new coating solutions to production - Improvement of production processes - Specification of PVD coating equipment - Evaluation & introduction of process control equipment for production
