At CareerFoundry, I work with agile, cross-functional teams and contractors to create technical courses in web development, UX/UI, iOS Swift, and more for adult learners looking to change careers.

At CSUEB, I collaborated with our faculty members to translate their courses into engaging online experiences for our students, helping them not only design pedagogically sound course structures but also use new technologies to better motivate and engage our online students. I also functioned as a System Administrator in our Blackboard Learn environment, helping to maintain, troubleshoot, test, and upgrade our LMS to provide the best support for our online students and faculty.

I hired, trained, mentored, and managed the course development team of 7 people. We produced 12-18 courses per quarterly development cycle and maintained our existing courses at two universities with a combined enrollment of around 2,000 students. I managed our master production cycle, selected courses for revision, and consulted with senior academic leadership on new course development. I suggested new features for our LMS and worked with our developers to solve LMS issues.

I hired, trained, and managed the editing team and a course production team of 3 people. I hired Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to work with the production teams, created and led trainings, served as a reviewer for completed courses, and tracked milestones on the course development production cycle. I also updated the quarterly master production cycle, collected student performance data on our courses, made recommendations for targeted improvements, and carried out or oversaw revisions.

I worked with Instructional Designers to develop and review academic courses for structure and clarity. I hired and managed Subject Matter Experts to write course content in diverse disciplines. I also carried out the duties of a Senior Editor, including assisting in hiring, training, and mentoring the editing team. In addition, I functioned as an assessment specialist. This included collecting data on test question performance to determine how to better design our test questions.

At C2, I worked with a fun, diverse group of K-12 students. I tailored my instructional methods and designed new curriculum to address the unique academic needs of 40-50 individual students in a variety of subjects, including English, writing, history, test prep, and Japanese. I managed classes of 3-5 students, kept detailed records of my students' progress, and created short and long-term study plans.
