Michael is a Foot & Ankle Surgeon with Ascension Medical Group. He underwent extensive training in all realms of surgery with an emphasis on complex surgical reconstruction & limb salvage. Michael has training in both traditional & orthoplastic surgery with an emphasis on trauma, minimally invasive surgery, microscopic nerve surgery, & advanced wound care with various biologics. Michael has completed all educational requirements and passed APMLE Part I, 2, & 3. Michael has experience with managing life-threatening conditions such as; necrotizing fasciitis, gas emphysema, compartment syndrome, acute limb ischemia, & sepsis. Additionally, he has diverse training in foot and ankle trauma that involve open fractures, growth plates, & avascular necrosis. Michael also has training in external fixation, joint replacement, joint fusion, tendon transfers, cavus, charcot, & flatfoot reconstruction. Michael is a life-long learner and aims to achieve excellence as a physician & surgeon.
