Responsibilities The primary topic of this thesis was to model and to calculate the effect of an additional metallic grid layer on the effective spreading resistance, i.e. the homogeneity of the current distribution in large area devices. I was involved in finite element analysis of OLEDs with and without grids. Model generated using codes written in Matlab. Post processing and generation of results using Matlab. Gained substantial knowledge on programming, modeling and simulation.
