Multiple temporary positions at both the German and Portland Siltronic sites The fruitful engagement with the German site (6 internships, then thesis) led to a 6 months lasting business trip to Portland to implement the results of the MS thesis. The stay in Portland led to a cooperation with UCLA, which enabled continued engagement with Siltronic while carrying out the work for the PhD thesis.
