I write about and recommend artful bars, areas, galleries, monuments, and any ingenious spot I find worthwhile in Berlin. Some of the articles have been translated to German and published in Süddeutsche Zeitung.

Translating, adapting and localizing text for advertising copy, websites and other media. We discussed the target market and examined different aspects of the text to ensure that it carried the essence, and in some cases, a more appropriate version of the original message in the language it had to be translated into.

My life at the school usually took place in the evenings. I taught English to adults (and still do from time to time) from a wide variety of backgrounds.

As an excuse to learn more about Berlin, I wrote small reviews and critiques of events and exhibits around the city for the magazine.

My life at the Ritzy consisted of managing front of house staff, hire and train new staff, aid with preparation for film festivals and write film synopses for in house promotional material.
