My tasks included, • Mathematical modeling, ensuring the correctness of results for component matching. • Component designing for structural modification which involved designing of “electromagnetic clutch for engaging and disengaging turbines” and “diaphragm for bypass air control” using SOLIDWORKS (3D CAD) • Checking the reliability of the components through simulations using ANSYS 18.1

    I worked as a design and simulation intern in NDC and my tasks are listed below: • Learning material optimization technique, i.e., Topology Optimization. • Performing structural analysis on a bracket, before optimizing material, to find out deformations • Performing Topology Optimization (using Ansys) and reducing the weight up to 37% and further replacing the material with Carbon Fiber • Validating the pre and post-Topology Optimization results and confirming the reliability
