I am an Infographic designer specialising in Diagrams, maps, charts, graphic journalism and data visualisation. I have 27 years experience including 11 years with UK national daily paper the Daily Mail in London as senior graphic artist. A year with BusinessAM in Edinburgh as deputy Graphics Editor and three years with The Economist as senior graphic artist. As freelancer for The NewScientist and The Scotsman. I have been a full time freelancer since 2013 working from my home office in Herford, Germany. Working for clients such as MicroSoft, Texas Instruments, Novartis, Hallmark, BAE Systems, World Pay, Golin, Nestle, Hotels.com, Enterprise and working shifts for The Daily Mail remotely. Drawing information graphics. Working to to tight deadlines, starting and finishing projects mostly on the same day. The work was exciting, as it was dependent on that day's news. The Daily Mail is known as the toughest newspaper to work for on London's Fleet Street and maybe the world. I have learned to be fast and accurate in my work. I worked with software including: Adobe Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC. I worked in a team and on my own. All my work appeared on The Daily Mail's website (MAIL online).
